I chose Occidental because of the small school community, location, and awesome team environment. I value connecting with my teammates and building lifelong friendships as well as striving to shave off as much time in the pool as possible. My goal in the next four years is to break 49.00 in the 100 backstroke!

The combination of Caltech's swim program and rigorous academics are a perfect match for my personal goals. With plenty of new swimmers starting last year, I'm hopeful I'll be part of a new wave of success on the team when I begin in the fall. I'm excited to train in sunny SoCal after spending my entire life cooped up in Massachusetts (jury is out on backstroke, though), and the prospect of studying alongside the brightest students of my generation is a dream come true. Go Beavers!

Proud and thankful to join the team at Oxy! I was so impressed with the school, diversity of people and opportunities. Excited to get faster under Coach Webb and psyched for SoCal outdoor workouts, especially in the awesome new swim facility opening 2019. Io Triumphe!

Harvey Mudd is an incredible school academically and I'm looking forward to the balance of sciences and humanities in the curriculum. The CMS swim program has a great reputation, and the coaches and team are very kind and welcoming. Harvey Mudd and the CMS swim team are the perfect fit for me. Go Stags!

I was looking for a liberal arts school that could fulfill my academic interests in the humanities, as well as my passion for competitive swimming. Oxy has everything I desire and more. Go Tigers!
