I chose Occidental because of the amazing environment, opportunities for a well-rounded liberal education with both STEM and humanities focuses, and the phenomenal team that I got to meet on my visits to the swim team on campus. Coach Haley was so welcoming and had a lot of ambition to see that the team improve and excel in the pool. Not to mention the facility is amazing and my future teammates were so personable and inviting to me when I visited. I'm so excited to represent Oxy next year! Go Tigers!
