I am excited to share that I earned a full appointment to the United States Coast Guard Academy and will swim for the Bears in the Class of 2027. I want to thank my family, friends, and mentors from Boy Scouts, Countryside YMCA, Fenwick HS, and Sea Cadets that helped me advance myself to achieve this appointment and Coach Westkott for support to join his team. I plan to major in MES engineering, swearing in on June 26, 2023 to begin my training to become a commissioned officer in the United States Coast Guard. Go Bears!

The Coast Guard Academy is an amazing school, with a beautiful campus. They have a great mechanical engineering program, which is the field I plan on studying, and the coast guard jobs that you get to do afterword all seem really fun and interesting. All that included my biggest draw to the Coast Guard Academy was the fact that everyone there seemed to be like family. Not just everyone on the swim team was close but it seemed like the whole school was close. I cant wait to go and represent such an amazing school.
