Henderson State’s Duke Wells Natatorium was constructed in 1971 and has served as the home for Red Wave swimming for more than 40 years. The pool itself has eight lanes at 25 yards in length and also has both a 1-meter and 3-meter diving boards.
Aside from being the home of Red Wave swimming, the pool is used for numerous Henderson State classes as well as lessons and public use.
The natatorium has enough seating to accommodate over 500 swimming enthusiasts. The Duke Wells Natatorium also has a men's and women's dressing room, athletic training area, and offices for the staff.
