Gabby Han

Diving Coach

Gabby Han was named the diving coach for the Toledo women’s swimming and diving program in August of 2022. She came to Toledo from Wayne State, where she served as the diving coach during the 2021-22 season. In her inaugural year with the Warriors, Han had four divers advance to NCAA Prequalifications with Mikaela Senkus earning two All-America certificates after placing third on the one-meter board and 11th on the three-meter board. Marissa Woida attained honorable mention All-America status in the one-meter diving competition. Han also spent time at Kalamazoo College as a volunteer assistant diving coach in 2014-15 and was a volunteer diving coach at Michigan in 2015-16 and 2017-18. Outside of college athletics, Han was the head diving coach at Club Wolverine for six years following stints with the West Michigan Diving Academy and the New Mexico Dive Club. A native of Plainwell, Mich., Han earned her bachelor’s degree in university studies from New Mexico in 2013, where she was an All-America diver for the Lobos. She also earned Mountain West Conference Diver of the Year honors and two conference championships, on the one-meter and three-meter. Han served as a student assistant diving coach for one season at New Mexico after exhausting her eligibility. Following her collegiate career, Han participated in the U.S. Olympic and World Championship trials and was a finalist on three-meter at the USA Diving National Championships in 2012 and 2016.

Assistant Coach, Women's Swimming

Noah Frederick has joined the Toledo women's swimming & diving coaching staff as an assistant swim coach in May 2023. Frederick came to Toledo from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where he has served as a volunteer swimming & diving coach and Graduate Assistant for Aquatics since August of 2021. Frederick orchestrated swim lesson programs, practices, summer camps and clinics for the Crimson Hawks. Over the last two years, he had worked with athletes who compiled 22 All-American performances (seven in 2022, and 15 in 2023). He helped coach Rachel Johnson who was the 2023 NCAA DII runner-up in the women's 100 breaststroke, an Elite 90 Award winner, and CSC Division II Academic All-American Team Member of the Year. Along with working with the varsity team, Frederick worked as the Assistant Director of Aquatic Operations where he developed the daily process of managing, staffing, and guarding the pool and its upper staff and pool members. Frederick's resume also includes being the Assistant Swim Coach at the Indiana County YMCA since July 2022 and an Assistant Swim Coach at General McLane High School from November 2020 – March 2021. Frederick began his coaching career at the Sampson YMCA as an Assistant Swim Coach from May 2018 – July 2021. Frederick, a native of Plum, Pa., graduated from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Exercise Science in 2021, where he was an all-conference honoree who specialized in breaststroke.
