Recruiting information

Recruiting at Western New England is based on the potential for academic acceptance combined with commitment to the sport and a willingness to be a team player both in and out of the pool.  Times are used as a guideline, rather than a rigid rule.  Competition within the league is at a very high level, so talented swimmers will be challenged and excel.  Current team members have broken multiple team records, and we're looking to continue this tradition.  Coach Michelle Toner has a wealth of experience and is looking to create a welcoming environment where each swimmer can seek their own potential and find lifelong friends.  Toner is taking over for the 2019-2020 season after the departure of Andrea Daley, who was the head coach of the Golden Bears for 17 years.  For more information on if Western New England University is the right fit for you, contact Coach Toner at michelle.toner@wne.edu.
