Thank you for your interest in St. Thomas University Swimming. We are a NAIA program that competes in the Sun Conference. We are a small, private catholic university located in Miami, FL. We have a total enrollment 4,000 students (~2,000 undergraduate) and a student:faculty ratio of 12:1 (as of June 2023).

St. Thomas University's goal is to build "Leaders for Life." Our swim team takes it a step further - we "Build Better Humans." At STU, we strive for academic and athletic success. You are a student first - and an athlete second. Our minimum GPA is 3.0 in order for you to be eligible to swim. We focus on mental discipline and habit formation to help you succeed in all aspects of your college life. 

The minimum academic standards that we look for:

GPA: 3.0 

SAT: 1100 

ACT: 24  

International Students:

TOEFL: 90 or above 

We are proud to announce that we are rapidly expanding our campus with brand new dorm halls, cafeteria and student union! These projects are all planned to be completed by Fall 2023 - with the dorm hall already finished for the Spring 2022 semester.
