  • FAU Tom Oxley Athletic Center

  • FAU student-athletes practice, compete, work out, rehabilitate, study, meet and relax at the Tom Oxley Athletic Center, or what they fondly call "The Ox". Tom Oxley, a local businessman, FAU alum and avid polo enthusiast, stepped forward with a donation that allowed the athletic center to become a reality in 2001. The 54,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art facility houses locker rooms, training room, weight room, meeting rooms and coaches' offices. The Founder's Lounge on the second floor also features a balcony overlooking the baseball "B" field, the FAU Soccer Stadium and two Soccer practice fields. Practice Fields The Tom Oxley Soccer Practice Fields are located behind the Tom Oxley Athletic Center and feature two full-sized practice fields that are used for the Owls' booming soccer programs. They are also utilized by many other FAU Athletics programs for strength and conditioning purposes. The field features a memorial dedicated to the initial program builders.
